Authorities in Tasmania are attempting to pinpoint a pink slime that has materialized on a remote shoreline, with certain experts anxious it could be an phytoplankton proliferation.

"Therefore the state needs to deliver a firm alert here, the authorities and the regulators need to respond to this. We need to analyse the examples we've collected and we need to notify the public here," she stated.
She expressed she had anxieties for community health after noticing a prickling feeling along her limbs and skin while being splashed with contaminated seawater.
